ANDY BRUNT
PRESIDENT of CLIFF USA, Andy has been involved in all aspects of electronic component design, manufacturing and sales since graduating from Westminster College, London in 1984.
After completing a four year professional qualification in Hotel Management, he decided that the unsociable hours of the Hotel and Catering industry did not suit his musical interests, so after leaving college he decided to change career and began selling connectors and other electronic components into the musical instrument and professional audio industries, a market that he was already familiar with by virtue of his involvement in recording and live performance.
Andy became National Sales Manager in 1989 for the UK agents of Ericsson Fiber-Optic cables, and worked within the telecommunications industry throughout the UK and Europe.
In 1992, Andy emigrated to the USA, and with two partners, formed Cliff Electronic Components Inc. in Benicia, California. Working extensively with OEM's, Andy developed and sold connectors, believing that a small, well organized company with the right approach to service, quality, price and delivery could compete with the big multi-nationals.
In order to support and expand the increasing market in Asia, Andy formed a new company "Cliff (Hong Kong) Ltd" in 2006. Andy is married with two children.

From there, Barry worked in the Engineering Designs Department of the B.B.C. involved in all aspects of TV and Broadcast technology until 1972, when, after a year's tour of duty as a "rock star" guitarist and lead vocalist in Europe, he returned to the UK and was appointed Group Leader of Design Engineering for Reditune, the audio wing of the, then giant, Rediffusion Organisation.
In 1976, Barry became Chief Engineer of a Leeds branch of Smith’s Industries, dealing with communications equipment system design, and in 1978, he struck out on his own with two companies: Pyatt Design, and Studio 21, bespoke and innovative electronic equipment designers and manufacturers , in the communications, audio and video technology fields.
Barry’s association with Cliff goes back to the mid 80s; his businesses sourced audio connectors from Cliff, who later, became agents for Barry’s “Qualikit” professional calibration software in the mid 90s.
Barry “retired” to live in Spain in 1999, but soon tired of an excess of sunshine !! He returned to Britain in 2005, and started to execute occasional work for Cliff, and is now pleased to be an integral part of the team.

PETER WONG
Peter Wong joined the Team in 2007 as SALES and MARKETING MANAGER for the Asia Pacific Region.
Peter has been involved in many different aspects of sales and marketing since he graduated in Hong Kong in 1980. His wide experience comes from working with big names like Swissair, Cathay Pacific Airways, and Official Airline Guides, and being so extensively involved in the travel business, it is not surprising that he also worked for Hilton International Hotels.
Every successful Asian business finds ways to streamline their processes and outsource the non-core business, particularly those concerning logistics. Peter set himself the challenge of becoming a logistics service provider at a time when this type of service was only just emerging in Hong Kong.
The specific selling of electronic components into the musical instrument and professional audio markets may be relatively new to Peter, but his vast previous experience in sales and marketing, as well as his adventurous spirit, provides Cliff with a professional quality of sales team, providing not only customer focused sales support, but equally importantly, a reliable after sales service.
Peter is multi-lingual, and is the first man to be contacted concerning for all sales enquiries in the Asia Pacific Region, and he will always strive to provide you with the right answer to your requirements.
ALYX PETERSEN
Alyx Petersen began secretarial duties for Cliff in February 2008 and was recently promoted to the position of WAREHOUSE MANAGER.

Apart from her time spent managing inventory, Alyx attends Washburn University in Topeka and has generously structured her school schedule to accommodate her work schedule. Alyx enjoys photography, hiking and chasing her dog in her very minimal free time.
GARY LARKIN
Gary Larkin has recently begun working on a part-time basis to provide services to our Pedal building customers. He will provide custom drilling, powder coating and graphic application services. We continually receive inquiries from customers, who express a desire to purchase finished enclosures, rather than having to outsource each aspect of the process. Gary’s skills in the area of graphic design and production make him the perfect choice.
